+ How to get to Lörrach

While Lörrach does not have its own airport, the Euroairport Basel-Mulhouse airport is just a 15 minute drive away. We suggest flying into this airport, though sometimes it is possible to get cheaper flights into Zurich, which is about 1 hour’s drive from Lörrach.

Our suggestion is to fly into the Basel airport, to take the Switzerland exit (you will see signs). From there you have different options:

  • Rent a car and drive to Lörrach

  • Take public transport from the airport to Lörrach

    • There is an easy connection from EuroAirport to the exhibition center in downtown Basel and on to the Badischer Bahnhof (the German railway station in Basel) by public transport, via the central Swiss railway station (Bahnhof SBB - see above). Tram line no. 2 serves both from Bahnhof SBB and from there to Lörrach via train. Find out more about this here.
    • to see the train schedule between the airport and Lörrach, click here.
  • There are also shuttles which drive from Basel to Lörrach. Here are two we found online but there are many more services you can use.

+ How to get to the school

The school's address is: Freie Christengemeinde Lörrach Arndtstrasse 5, 79539 Lörrach, Germany

There are various transport options for getting around Lörrach in order to get to the school.

For the above listed hotels, the fastest options is to walk, to take a bike or to drive by car – but it is also possible to take public transport, though it is a little more difficult. Unfortunately Uber is also unavailable in this area of Germany which is why we suggest hiring a car or walking (if the hotel is not too far away).

+ Public transport

The easiest way to look up bus times and where the bus stops are, etc., is through Google Maps. Simply put your hotel’s address in the ‘from’ box (the top one) and the address of the venue in the ‘to’ box (the bottom one - Arndtstraße 5, 79539 Lörrach), and click on the logo that looks like a train. From there you can adjust the time you want to leave or arrive, etc.

Taking public transport in Lörrach is quite easy if you already know the times of when the bus is coming. Simply get on the bus and use coins to pay for a day ticket and take the bus to the bus stop near the venue. This bux stop is called "Andstraße". A day ticket for the area of Lörrach is 7€ for one person and 12€ for a group of 5.

+ Parking at the school

There is NO parking at the venue. The only parking there is part of the ‘Lidl’ supermarket, so your car will get towed if you park there. Here are a few suggestions of where you can park:

As you can see here, there is a lot of parking in the area - but plase remember not to park at the venue. It will cost some money to park, so have some Euro coins ready.

+ Tuition

We ask you to make a down payment of €200 to secure your attendance at the school before November 10th and the remaining 260€ before December 31st. This gives people on the waiting list enough time to arrange their travels in case a student has to cancel. Of course you can also pay the full amount (460€) at once. To pay your tuition fee please make a wire transfer to the following account:

Stadium Tour

We have an amazing opportunity to visit a stadium together with Ben Fitzgerald in Basel - which can hold 40.000 people.
This is for everyone who wants to experience what it is like to have faith and passion to fill a stadium. The idea of that visit is for you to ignite your faith and to start to dream big.
This will happen in the morning at 10 am, one day after the school on the 1st of February.
It costs 15€ for an one hour tour. To take part in that tour you have to bring the money in cash, in Euro and the exact amount to the check-in on Tuesday.
You also have to find a way to go to the stadium on your own, it is a 20-30 min drive with the car from Lörrach.
The address of the stadium is: St. Jakobs-Strasse 395, 4052 Basel, Switzerland

Let’s dream together for stadiums to be filled for Jesus!
