Welcome to our Guest of Honor page!

Here you will find some more information that might concern you as our Guest of Honor. If you have any further questions, check out our FAQ page or write to us directly at guest@awakeningeurope.com and we´ll get back to you to answer all remaining questions.

Check in

Check in for Awakening Europe Baltija starts one hour before the first session of each day.

Thursday,           30th August        6 pm
Friday,                 31st August         9 am
Saturday,            1st September    9 am
Sunday,               2nd September 9 am

Please come to the Guest of Honor entrance (next to entrance A, follow the signs) and bring your ticket with the QR code printed or on your device. Once you´ve been checked in, you´ll have access to the Guest of Honor area in the arena.

Doors open one hour prior to each session.

 

How to get to the arena

We recommend you use public transport to get to and from Arena Rīga, as it is very comfortable and convenient.

Public transport: 
Arena Rīga is located in central Riga – there are several public transport routes nearby which allow you to reach us as quickly and comfortably as possible. We recommend searching for the mode of transport most convenient for you on the website for Rīgas satiksme, the transportation service for the city of Riga.

  • Coming from the city centre
    Trolleybuses No. 3, and 5, and buses No. 11 stops at “A.Briāna iela”. From this stop, continue along K. Valdemāra Street until Mālpils Street which will take you straight to the Arena.Rīga.
    Bus No. 24 – from Abrenes Street – can take you directly to the Arena. The stop is located in Skanstes Street, a five-minute walk from Arena

 

  • Heading to the city centre
    Take bus No.11 or trolleybus No. 3 and get on at the stop „Palīdzības iela“. When taking trolleybuses No. 5, get on at the stop „A. Briāna iela“ next to Valdemāra Street. Take bus No. 24 from the stop „Skanstes iela“ to head towards Abrenes Street.

 

  • Tram
    The closest tram stops to the Arena are those of tram No. 11 which are in Miera Street. Getting to the Arena from these stop the fastest is by taking Mālpils Street.

Schedule of the sessions

Catering

The arena´s catering service provides some warm food/snacks in the general attendees area. For you, there will be drinks and snacks available for purchase in the Guest of Honor area also.

Languages and translation

The main languages from the stage will be English and Latvian. Simultaneous translation is available in Russian, Estonian, Lithuanian and German. If you need simultaneous translation, please let us know in advance.
